PRESIDENT'S
REPORT
I
hope everyone is enjoying your summer. Don't forget Sue's house July

coming at approximately 2:00 Bruce from Alley 54 will be present with
his daughter showing us a great time with bubbles. I can't wait, I
love bubbles, I always carry them. They are also in my car. It's great
during a traffic jam start blowing bubbles out your window and
watch everyone faces look puzzled. Try it. Ok. Just a reminder a copy
of the motion for a Cori check was sent out to all members Via US
mail. This motion has also been in the last two newsletters. We
will vote on it on July 30th at 1:30pm .
If
you are going to Mr. Rainbow workshop in Sept. Granite State needs you
to go to their website and sign up. This is an event that has been
paid for all members of haps alley to attend that have been in
good standing as of March 2006. If you plan to attend please
notify Granite State Clowns ASAP so that they may continue to plan for
the event. Operation home coming at Pease Air Force Base in
Portsmouth NH Aug 5th are looking for a few good clowns to help
entertain (Since this was not voted on it is not an Alley event) this
would be a great chance to volunteer and help out any questions please
see or call Pam Bridge I know she has volunteered in the pass and
is willing to help out this year.
A Motion was made to vote and change the by-law on membership. It was motioned that all members be CORI checked. A motion was made that the alley would pay for a one time CORI check for all members of Hap's Alley that have been in good standing with the club and have been a paid member as of March 2006. A motion was made that that any new member being brought into the club be Cori checked at their own expense as well as be accepted by the general membership. This has been posted in the June 2006 and July 2006 newsletters. A vote on this motion will take place at our July meeting that will take place at Sue Wolfendale home on July 30th. General meeting will take place at 1:30pm . Please be Present so that you may voice your opinion on this motion. This is your club.
