PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Hope
you all enjoyed the scrap booking lecture we did last month. Thanks go out
to our lecture Michelle I think she did a great job. I saw some new talents
in our club using the creativity of their page. I know I enjoyed doing
mine and the nice thing is that we all took home a scrap page for our
books. Next month will be parade props I have asked Eric and Rie to
help lead this and bring in some things that they might have at the shop to
sell. If you have a favorite prop that you have made or use in the parades
please bring it along to help demonstrate how it is used. Now on a different
note there has been some confusion on membership so I have had Tim send
out the by-laws to everyone again. We will discuss this at the meeting. The
second is Cori Checks I am under the understanding that this is something
that is being required by the state. A motion was brought up and
voted on that the club will pay this first time for a cori check of all
members that were paid and are in good standing with the club as of
this past March 2006. This was also motioned that it be placed in the
by-laws that all members be cori checked and that any new members being
brought into the club cori checked. As well as accepted by the general
membership. Since this was motioned I am placing this motion as the first
posting. This again will be brought up at the next meeting. Hope to see
you all at the next meeting. Secretarys Report Old
