PRESIDENT'S REPORT 

 Hello, everyone this is my first president's
report. We had our birthday party at Cedar Crest and a great time was had by
all. I want to start by congratulating Scott on becoming northeast director.
Also to Cheezo and rie on having the 20th annual shiner's clown camp
dedicated to them by the northeast clown institute. congratulations to Mary
for her first place trophy in single balloon competition at the January
Jamboree " way to go!!"
                                I want to remind everyone that dues are due
this month and if you pay after the end of Feb. There will be a 5.00 dollar
late fee. If dues are not paid by the end of march you will no longer be
considered a member of the alley and you will be dropped from the web site.
Please send your dues to Pam. The next meeting will be March 5th and Janet
will be teaching us how to make a marshmallow shooter. A popular children's
toy so come all it should be very entertaining. Again if anyone has any
ideas for things to do at meetings please feel free to e-mail me with
idea's.

SECRETARY'S REPORT

Meeting was held at the Cedar Crest in Lawrence on February 5th.
John our new president brought the meeting to order at 6:50 p.m.
During the meeting/dinner Pam and Mary did lets make a deal. Thanks Pam for all your hard work and stuff.
Secretary report was motioned to accept as written in newsletter.
Treasure report- at this time we have money.
Old Business- John went over that the Cori Check is in the by-laws and that we will discuss on how it will work at the next meeting. I have since finally received our case number.
WCA-ballots are due.
New business- Plaistow N.H. is looking for some volunteers for their homecoming day. It is June 30th they are looking for us to volunteer entertaining the crowd and handing out balloons the hours will be aprox. 11-3 we have asked for a donation to the club and will have more information at the next meeting.
Circus Magic convention will be held in Williams burg VA Feb 23 rd - 25 th.
Alley 54 in Salem Ma will be hosting Ginny the face painter at the first Baptist church on the 2nd Tuesday in March at 7:00 please call "J" if you need more information 978-744-1140 I understand this will be a great lecture.
Spring in the Clowns convention will be held in Plymouth MA March 30 th - April 1st. Eric and Rie would have more information on this if you are interested in attending. I personally have been in the past and it is a very relaxed convention skit completion is red nose. This years headliner is Toto Johnson former Ringling Brother Clown.
Mooseburger Clown Camp on the Road will be in Lenox Ma  at the East over Resort the last week of April.
Pioneer Valley clowns will be hosting a convention in Springfield Ma July 26th-29th. This will included 2 dinners 2 shows and 1 breakfast.
WCA Convention will be held in Disney World 2008 more information to follow.
 
CONGRATULATIONS TO SCOTT (SODAPOP) OUR NEW NORTHEAST DIRECTOR. We hope he has as big as shoes as Pam does. Good Luck.
 
Sunshine- Hap as always you are always in our hearts and prayers. We Miss you and Merry.
Janet Divers granddaughter is doing well and is home she weighs 6 lbs.
Peter Carter has been in the hospital with heart problems. Peter we wish you a speedy recovery.
Sue Wolfvandale also had a scare. Sue we hope you are feeling better and everything has checked out O. K.
 
** Jerry Potter is our new sunshine person if you know of anyone that is ill or could you some cheering up please let her know so that she can send them out a card she will also keep out in keeping the club informed. Jerry also apologizes for those that she has missed.***
 
Show and Tell - Congratulations to Eric and Rie they have been honored from the Northeast Clown Institute. The Shiners clown camp honored them with a plaque celebrating their 20th Anniversary of clown camp.
John showed off his new clown shoes.
Mary showed off her 1st place trophy in single balloon competition from the January Jamboree Convention. 
 
NEXT MEETING- Janet will demonstrates on how to make marshmallow shooters. We will be back at the school.
