PRESIDENT'S
REPORT
I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have sent the toys
off with the Haverhill
Police they were doing the toys for tots drive. For some reason the Armory was not doing it this year as well as others that have taken them in the past. Since we started our club in Haverhill the Haverhill fire dept was listed but when I finally got in touch with them they directed me to the Police station. We had also collected more toys in the mean time which was great so all in all we had approximately 6 boxes of toys also a check for $200.00. Officer Hardy was very grateful and by talking to him the supply of toys are much less than the demand. If anyone is interested in bringing in more toys at the next meeting I will gladly drop them off. Check with your co-workers your customers, family and tell them what your doing. See if they would like to donate a toy. Next meeting will be our holiday get together it will be at the School. We will be having a Yankee swap wrapped gift. Also bring in something to share that we can eat. If you would like to dress in your holiday attire you may.( Mrs. C. Elf, Santa, or Holiday clown) etc. We will also be opening nominations. So far nomination go as:
President-John (Trix)
V.P.- Gordon (Apples)
Secretary - Sue (Cheerful Charlie)
Treasure - Janet (sonshine) Pam (lollipop)
Sergeant at Arms- Eric (cheezo)
Officer at large - Paul (Dr goose)
If anyone is interested in running please let Pam know so that
she can bring it
to the meeting next month. Also we will be voting on this for the January meeting. At this time the January meeting is supposed to be New Years Day we will discuss if we will have it at the meeting what the club wishes to do possibly hold it a different location? Any suggestions?
Till then take care
GOD BLESS AMERICA
