Toys for Tots
“Toys for Tots” is an annual event where toys are collected and
distributed by the US Marine Corps to local children at Christmas time.
Hap’s Alley started doing a Kid’s Clown Show to benefit “Toys for
Tots” in 2002 at the Belleville Congregational Church, 300 High Street in
Newburyport, MA. On Friday August 5, 2005 from 7 to 8 PM the alley will
be having our 4th show. Our admission price is a new unwrapped toy and a
smile.

the millions of people, who count on us to fight diabetes,
I would like to thank you for
your support. It is through
donations from people such as yourself that the American
Diabetes Association is able to take steps towards achieving
its goals.
The mission of the American Diabetes Association is to prevent
and to cure diabetes and to
improve the lives of ail people
affected by diabetes. Because diabetes is a disease for
which
there is no known cure, as yet, our work at accomplishing
our mission is crucial to
the lives of over 17 million people
with diabetes. To meet our mission, we raise
much-needed monies to
fund research, to advocate on behalf of those with diabetes,
and to
provide the most recent, accurate information on
detection and self-management of
diabetes. Let me assure you
that your support will be used to further our efforts in these areas.
It is a strong hope that some day soon, we can all
say that diabetes, as a disease, has been
eradicated as a
source of suffering and great economic costs. Once again thank
